NEW EVENT: Socially Distanced, but Not Unconnected.

The next Alano Club B.Y.O. entertainment variety hour featuring two local recovering artists–country/blue grass singer, Barbara Jo Kammer and jewelry artist, Karen Boelts is this Saturday, July 25th @ 6:30 pm (MDT).

Our hosts Clay Rose and Matt Bodo will explore music, a celebration of art and culture in jewelry design, and more with our artists Barbara Jo and Karen.

These Boulder Alano Club events are designed to keep us close while we weather the social distance safety guidelines that are still in place.  While these free events are designed to connect with our due-paying supporters, they are open to all. Everyone in recovery and their loved ones are welcome to join us.

During the show, we will be passing the “tip jar.” Our artists have generously agreed to split the tips with the Alano Club.  Tips can be sent through Venmo @BoulderAlano-Club. Please put “Tip for Barbara Jo and Karen” in the comments section.

Another very special day. I was so happy to be back playing for my friends at Balfour Senior Living in their beautiful courtyard. Birds were singin’ away & fish in the pond were jumpin’ big time. Thank you to Kent for helping with equipment and stepping up to the mic adding beautiful harmony. When we were packing up, one of the caregivers brought out John, a World War II veteran whose favorite song is the Star-Spangled Banner. We happily sang his favorite song in harmony. 💚🎶💚🎶💚🎶💚🎶💚🎶💚🎶💚🎶💚🎶💚
